Are you a musician who has a website where you would like to place some of your music? We all know that this is a great way to attract new fans and gain attention for your music. Many websites let users play either samples or even full-length songs via an embedded music player.
There are many free tools available that you can use to place a music player on your site where you can the upload music files so they can then be streamed on your site.
Start by open your website with your favored web editing application. You can use any editing application you choose from simple editors such as FrontPage to advanced packages such as Dreamweaver.
Decide where you want to place the player. You can put the player on every page or you can have the player open in a new window.
Find the HTML code from the free music player you’ve chosen. Then copy and paste the code to your desired placement. Players such as MixPod and Zanorage include the necessary code on their websites. Other players may require that you download and install the player to place it on your site.
Create a play list and then upload your MP3 files you want to feature on your website.
Adjust the settings for the desired playback of songs, the way the player looks and whether you want to allow users to download the files.
After you have completed these steps, save your project and upload it to your site’s server. Test the player and make any adjustments.
